These are Sierra GameKing #1820 bullet heads for handloading .270 calibre rifle cartridges, not loaded ammunition. Each projectile measures .277" in diameter and weighs 130 grains, with a spitzer point and a boat-tail base that streamlines the bullet in flight for a high ballistic coefficient (G1 0.436), a flat trajectory and strong energy retention down range. The double-taper jacket is built to hold together for reliable penetration while still giving dependable, controlled expansion on medium game, making this a sensible choice for the stalker working roe and similar deer at typical and longer ranges. As you would expect from Sierra, accuracy is the hallmark: accurate rifles loaded near maximum frequently group inside half a minute of angle. The #1820 is the boat-tail counterpart to the 130 grain #1830 Pro-Hunter flatbase, so handloaders can match bullet behaviour to the distances they shoot. Supplied as a box of 100 heads, ready for you to seat over your chosen powder charge and brass.
