The Amblers Safety 501R is a metal-free safety boot built around sustainability, with a 6 inch upper made from 57% recycled pre-consumer leather and a fully recycled mesh PET lining, tongue and padded collar throughout. It is rated S1P to the current European safety-footwear standard, with additional heat-resistant (HRO), fuel/oil-resistant (FO) and slip-resistant (SR) outsole markings, bringing together a composite toe cap and a penetration-resistant midsole with no metal anywhere in the boot's construction. A separate moulded PU scuff cap over the toe area adds extra external wear resistance where boots typically take the most knocks and scuffs, while a recycled mesh-lined, removable PU footbed and a pull-on recycled nylon heel loop combine to keep the boot comfortable underfoot and easy to get on and off. The 15% recycled rubber outsole completes an eco-friendly build without giving up any of the protection expected of a genuine safety boot for keepering, larder work or general estate use.
