The Amblers Safety AS801 Rockingham is a lightweight, fully non-metal safety hiking boot built to the S3 SRA standard, so it clears metal detectors while still giving the protection of a heavyweight boot. A composite toe cap and non-metallic anti-penetration midsole guard against impact and puncture without the weight of steel, and the antistatic build with an energy-absorbing heel and SRA slip resistance keeps it stable on wet, oily or uneven ground. The water-resistant leather and mesh upper is backed by a breathable waterproof membrane and mesh lining, so feet stay dry without the boot turning into a sauna over a long day. Inside, a removable EVA footbed with a memory foam heel cushion, plus a padded collar and bellowed tongue, add genuine comfort for extended wear, while the EVA/rubber outsole resists fuel and oil and stays stable up to 300 degrees. It's a practical boot for keepers, ghillies, larder and estate staff, or anyone needing certified protection on rough ground where a steel-toe boot would be unwelcome round livestock or on a metal-detected site.
