These are Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint reloading bullets in 22 calibre (.224" diameter), 55 grain, supplied as a bulk value pack of 1000 projectiles for the high-volume varmint and fox shooter who loads their own. This is a component bullet, not loaded ammunition. Built for ultra-high velocity loads, the Ballistic Tip Varmint pairs a colour-coded polymer tip with a thin, gradually thickening jacket so it expands rapidly and violently across the velocity range, dumping its energy in the target rather than carrying through. The ballistically engineered Solid Base acts as a platform for large-diameter mushrooms, while the spitzer profile and boat-tail base keep the flat, accurate trajectory you want for longer shots at rabbits, crows and foxes. With a published G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.267, it loads well across the popular .22 centrefires such as .222 Remington, .223 Remington and .22-250. The 1000-count box keeps the cost per round down for stalkers, pest controllers and fox shooters who get through a lot of bullets across a season.
