Beretta's BDU Field Shorts take their name from the classic 'Battle Dress Uniform' silhouette, cut for warm-weather range days, dog walking or general outdoor use where a lightweight, hard-wearing short earns its keep. The ripstop nylon-cotton blend fabric resists tearing and abrasion, with a reinforced rear panel to stand up to kneeling, crawling and rough ground. Practical slotted buttons close the waistband and pockets, while large cargo pockets on each leg — finished with button flaps and an elastic gusset for extra capacity — carry everything from a phone to a folding knife, with reinforced front pockets built to take the strain. Wide belt loops suit a proper tactical or leather belt, and rear pockets add further storage without adding bulk. Finished in black, they mix easily into a full BDU outfit: Beretta pairs them with the BDU Field jacket, the long-sleeve Mortirolo shirt or the Miller polo for a complete, purpose-built look.
