The Bestard Trek Lady FF is a lightweight technical trekking boot for women from Bestard's Fast Forward range, built around the brand's minimalist FF Tech last. At just 1,100g per pair (UK size 5), it's one of the lighter boots in Bestard's technical trekking line, but the low weight doesn't come at the expense of support: the Close-Fit-System and TMS-System work together at the ankle to give a close, precise fit with genuine freedom of movement, while a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining keeps feet dry and lets moisture escape. The upper combines Kevlar, elastic Superfabric, Perwanger leather and water-repellent Microtech for durability against scree and rough trail without adding bulk, and sits on a Vibram Foura outsole with an EVA midsole for grip and cushioning underfoot. Quick-lock lacing and a tongue fixation keep the boot secure through technical sections, with reflective elements for visibility in low light. Bestard designed the Trek Lady FF for technical trekking, scrambling and long backpacking days over demanding mountain terrain, where a boot that feels closer to a trail shoe but performs like a proper trekking boot makes a real difference over distance.
