Size: 21 x 13 cm — sized for roebuck, muntjac, sika hind and similar European trophies | Solid oak with stain and lacquer finish | Dark Brown colour | Traditional Scandinavian shield-shape | Pre-drilled, routed mounting holes for flush wall hang | Part of the matched Mjoelner trophy plate range | A traditional alternative to a full shoulder mount
The Mjoelner Buck Trophy Plate in Dark Brown (21 x 13 cm) is a traditional Scandinavian shield-shape trophy plate sized for average-to-good roebuck and sika hind trophies. It's made from solid oak and finished with stain and lacquer in a dark brown colour that complements antler without competing with it — the kind of detail you'd expect to see in a working sporting lodge or country house gun room. The reverse carries pre-drilled, routed mounting holes with indentation around the screw heads so the plate sits flush against the wall once it's hung. The shield-shape and proportions are sized to give the antlers room to read against the wood without the plate disappearing behind them. For deer stalkers who want a serious, traditional way to present a roebuck, muntjac or sika hind trophy at home — without the cost or complexity of a full shoulder mount — the Mjoelner range delivers a tested, repeatable result year on year.
