The Caterpillar Striver is a lace-up injected safety boot in honey, built for industrial and site work rather than country use. It carries a full S3 SRC rating to EN ISO 20345, combining a 200 Joule steel toe cap with a steel anti-penetration midsole rated to a minimum of 1100N, so the foot is protected against both impact and standing on sharp debris. The upper is water-resistant, and the collar and tongue are padded in PU and mesh for comfort over a long shift, sitting on a removable PU footbed that can be swapped for a personal insole. An energy-absorbent heel takes the sting out of repeated impact on hard floors, while the outsole is fuel- and oil-resistant and carries the SRC slip rating - the highest grade in the standard, tested on both wet ceramic tile and glycerol-covered steel. The boot is also antistatic. It is a genuine safety boot rather than a fashion work boot, and suits warehouse, construction, workshop and general industrial environments where a certified toe cap and midsole are required.
