This Contessa steel Picatinny rail is precision-made to fit the Browning X-Bolt short action, giving a direct, drop-in mount for Picatinny-compatible scope rings and mounts. Manufactured by Contessa Alessandro & C. of Italy, the rail measures 127mm long with a base height of 10.5mm and weighs just 110g. It ships with eight screws and a wrench, and the hole spacing (17.8mm / 74.8mm / 17.8mm between centres) is matched exactly to the rifle's receiver, so no drilling or fitting work is required. This 0 MOA version gives a standard flat rail with no built-in elevation offset; a 20 MOA variant is also available from Contessa for extended-range work. Compatible with Browning X-Bolt short-action chamberings including .22-250, .223, .243, 6.5mm, 7mm-08, .308 Win, .270 WSM, 7mm WSM, .300 WSM and .325 WSM. A solid, precision-engineered base for mounting scope rings or a one-piece scope mount on the X-Bolt platform.
