This Contessa one-piece mount fits a Picatinny rail and is designed for scopes using the Swarovski Rail (SR) system, giving a solid, quick-release scope mount with a repeatable return to zero. It uses a recoil lug on the underside of the mount together with a quick-release lever to lock securely onto the Picatinny rail, so the scope can be removed and refitted at a consistent tension each time. The mount stands 13mm high, is 111mm long, has a lug-to-rear distance of 24mm and weighs 170g. It is made from blued steel and Ergal (a high-strength aluminium alloy) and is supplied with wrenches and spare screws. The release lever sits on the left-hand side. Please note this mount is designed for Picatinny rails only and will not fit Weaver rails. While highly accurate, as with any Picatinny-based quick-release system, 100% repeatable zero cannot always be guaranteed and will depend on the mounting procedure - though accuracy should be within 1 MOA.
