The Hi-Tec Eurotrek Lite Waterproof is a lightweight leather walking boot built for day walks, country paths and light hiking rather than serious mountain work. The coated leather upper is backed by Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof, breathable membrane, so feet stay dry crossing wet grass, muddy tracks and light rain while excess heat and moisture can still escape. A durable, rustproof lacing system pulls the boot into a snug, secure fit that holds up wash after wash and season after season. Underfoot, a removable moulded EVA footbed adds all-day cushioning and can be swapped for an orthotic if needed, sitting on a compression-moulded EVA midsole with a supportive shank that keeps the boot stable on uneven ground. An MDT (Multi-Directional Traction) rubber outsole grips loose stone, mud and wet grass and shrugs off the wear that comes with regular use. With a textile lining for comfort against the foot, this is a practical, no-fuss boot for anyone who wants dependable waterproofing and support for walking the dog, working the yard or a day out on the hill without the weight or price of a technical mountain boot.
