The Cairn Pro is a below-the-ankle waterproof hiking shoe from Hoggs of Fife, developed off the back of demand for a lighter alternative to their popular Rambler boot. The suede upper is cut with fabric panels to help keep weight down, while a waterproof and breathable interlining, paired with a technical moisture-wicking membrane, keeps feet dry and comfortable whether you're on a long dog walk or out on the hill for the day. A removable cushioned insole adds underfoot support and makes the shoe easy to air out after a wet outing, and the Countrytrek EVA midsole with TPR outsole gives reliable cushioning and grip underfoot on mixed terrain. Finished in brown suede, it's built as a practical, everyday shoe rather than a technical mountain boot - well suited to dog walking, farm work and general countryside use where full boot height isn't needed.
