The Hornady Seater Die #26 is a precision bullet seating die for handloading .308–.310 / 7.62x39mm cartridges. Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System forms the core of this die: the bullet, the case neck and the seating stem are held in exact alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet is driven into the case neck, ensuring repeatable seating depth and contributing to consistent accuracy. The alignment sleeve is included as standard — not charged as an extra. A built-in roll crimper is incorporated in the die body so you can crimp in the same operation as seating, removing the need for a separate crimp die and freeing up a station on the press. The Sure-Loc lock ring clamps around the full circumference of the die body; its locking screw tightens without contacting the die threads, protecting both components. Machined wrench flats allow the die to be fitted and removed cleanly without pliers. A retainer ring near the base releases in seconds for quick disassembly and cleaning. Thread is the standard 7/8"-14 found on virtually all reloading presses. Shell holder is not included. Made in the USA and backed by Hornady's lifetime no-break guarantee.
