The Swarovski PCT Professional Carbon Tripod is built for the stalker or birder who spends hours behind a spotting scope and needs a rock-steady platform that holds its line even when the wind gets up. Made from carbon fibre, it stays light at 1800 g yet copes with loads up to 21 kg, so a full-size scope and digiscoping camera sit firmly without creep or shudder. The four-section legs extend to a maximum height of 175 cm for glassing from standing, then fold down to a closed length of 56 cm for carrying on the hill, and the centre column splits away for more compact packing or low-angle work. A 3/8in thread on top accepts the matching Swarovski tripod head or most standard heads, letting you set the rig up around your own optics. Whether you are picking apart a far hillside at first light or filming on the move, the PCT gives you the stability to watch, film and digiscope in comfort over a long sit. Supplied as legs only; the tripod head is sold separately.
