The Sierra Tipped GameKing is a .270 Calibre (.277" diameter) 140-grain reloading bullet built for hunters who want match-grade consistency in a hunting projectile. It takes Sierra's proven GameKing boat-tail spitzer design and adds a polymer tip, giving a more consistent ballistic coefficient shot to shot and a flatter, more predictable trajectory downrange. Beneath the tip, an open pocket over the lead core promotes rapid, reliable expansion on impact, while a controlled jacket taper manages weight retention and penetration through the vitals. The boat tail profile reduces drag and helps the bullet buck crosswinds, making it a solid choice for roe and red deer stalking at typical UK ranges. This is a component bullet for handloading only, supplied 50 to the box, and is not loaded ammunition. As with any reloading component, always work up loads carefully from a reputable manual or Sierra's own published data, and check compatibility with your rifle's twist rate and intended quarry before use.
