The Sitka Mountain WS Glove is a low-profile, mid-weight hunting glove built around a GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER insert, giving fully windproof yet breathable protection when the wind gets up on exposed ground. The palm and fingers are sheathed in Pittard's Oiltac leather backed by rugged nylon, so a rifle forend, shooting sticks or binoculars stay firmly in hand in damp conditions, while the trim cut keeps the trigger-finger dexterity a stalker needs. Inside, a lofted micro-check fleece liner with a merino wool interior takes the edge off cold autumn mornings without the bulk of a full winter glove, and a durable water repellent finish sheds light rain, though the glove is not waterproof. The GORE OPTIFADE Open Country pattern is engineered to conceal the hunter in open, rocky terrain, making this a natural match for hill stalking alongside Sitka's Open Country clothing. A tough leather pull makes the gloves easy to get on and off, and at roughly 139 g in size Large they carry light in a jacket pocket between outings.
