The Sitka Mountain WS Glove is a low-profile, midweight windproof glove built for mid-season stalking. A GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER insert blocks wind chill completely while staying breathable, so your hands keep warm on a cold high seat without overheating on the walk in. The back of the hand is rugged nylon, while the palm and fingers are sheathed in Pittard's Oiltac leather for a sure, tacky grip on a rifle forend, sticks or binoculars in damp conditions. Inside, a lofted micro-check fleece liner traps just enough heat for autumn outings yet keeps the glove slim enough for fine work, from loading to glassing to working a safety catch. A durable water repellent finish shrugs off light rain and stops the face fabric wetting out, and a leather pull tab makes it easy to get on and off. The GORE OPTIFADE Concealment Subalpine pattern is engineered for stalking and ambushing deer at ground level in tree-covered, vegetated terrain, which makes it a natural match for woodland stalking in the UK.
