The Sitka Mountain WS Glove in Sitka Black is a low-profile, fully windproof glove built for stalking and shooting through the mid season. A GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER membrane seals out wind completely while staying lightweight and breathable, and a lofted micro-check fleece liner with a 230-gram merino wool interior holds warmth without adding bulk. The palm and fingers are faced in Pittard's Oiltac leather, a high-grip hide that keeps positive control of a rifle, sticks or binoculars in the wet, while the rugged nylon back stands up to abrasion from heather and gorse. A durable water repellent finish resists light rain and stops the face fabric wetting out. The short gauntlet sits low on the wrist so it layers cleanly under a stalking-jacket cuff and keeps the dexterity you need to work a bolt or load a magazine, and a durable leather pull makes the glove easy on and off with cold hands. At around 139 g it earns its place in the pocket of any hill or woodland stalker from first frost onwards.
