The Zeiss Secacam 3 Wide-Angle is a trail camera built for deer stalkers and wildlife managers who need to cover large feeding sites, woodland clearings or wide trail junctions from a single mount. Its 100° field of view is considerably broader than the standard Secacam 3's 60°, and a minimum focus distance of just 35 cm keeps subjects sharp even when they are directly in front of the lens — all but eliminating the close-range blind spot. The 3 MP sensor interpolates up to 24 MP, and a trigger speed under 0.45 seconds is fast enough to catch running deer. After dark, 60 × 940 nm no-glow infrared LEDs illuminate the scene invisibly to wildlife and record full HD 1080p video and still images with H.265 compression to the camera's built-in 32 GB memory. An integrated LTE/4G module with a pre-installed multi-roaming SIM covers 35 countries including the UK, pushing images to the Zeiss Secacam app without any need to visit the camera. The IP66-rated housing stands up to wet Scottish winters and operates from −25 °C to +65 °C.
