The Harris No. 6 Adapter is a swivel-stud insert that lets you fit any Harris bipod to a rifle fitted with a European-style foreend rail. European rails — found on Sako, Tikka, Blaser, Anschutz, and Air Arms rifles — measure approximately 3/8 inch across the slot, which is wider than the American 5/16 inch standard; without the correct adapter, a standard Harris swivel stud will not seat properly. The No. 6 slides cleanly into the 3/8 inch slot and is locked in position with a grub screw, giving a solid, wobble-free platform for any Harris bipod. It is finished in black and made to Harris's usual standards — the company has supplied bipod hardware to stalkers and precision shooters for decades. If you are fitting a Harris bipod to a European-spec rifle and do not have a stud rail, this is the adapter you need. Check your rail slot width before ordering: for 5/16 inch American-style rails, the Harris No. 6A is the correct choice.
