Akah Beechwood Tar (Buchenholzteer) is the classic German game attractant — a thick, dark tar distilled from beechwood that draws wild boar, red deer, roe deer, fox and marten to a bait site from a considerable distance. No additives, no pheromones; it works because game already know the scent.
Painted onto a tree, post or tar tree (Malbaum) close to your high seat, it sets up a long-lasting scent point that holds animals on station long enough for a controlled shot. 2.5-litre metal can — enough for a full season of regular treatment on a small estate.
