Hanging game is the right way to let a carcase cool, set and develop flavour, but in the warmer months it takes only a few hours for flies to find it and spoil good venison. The AKAH carcase fly net deals with the problem simply: a fine-mesh net bag in strong gauze fabric that slips over the hung carcase and closes with a drawcord, keeping blowflies and other insects off the meat while still letting air circulate freely so the carcase chills and dries as it should. At 200 x 70 cm it is long enough to cover a roe-sized carcase whole, and it works just as well over hares, rabbits and game birds in the larder or chiller. Made from 100% polyamide, it is light, hard-wearing and takes up next to no room in a roe sack or the back of the truck.
