The Umarex RDS 8 is a compact, lightweight red dot sight built for fast target acquisition on airguns, airsoft pistols and training equipment. It projects an 8 MOA dot with two brightness settings, so it can be set for both bright daylight and dimmer conditions, and the multi-coated glass carries anti-reflex and anti-glare coatings for a clear, consistent sight picture. The sight uses the widely adopted C-More footprint and comes with an included Picatinny mount, and it's compatible with Umarex's own optic adapter plates (sold separately) for fitting a wider range of airguns and airsoft pistols. A neat touch is the integrated auxiliary rear sight, which takes over automatically whenever the red dot is switched off, giving a fallback aiming reference without needing a separate iron sight. It's powered by a single CR1632 battery, supplied in the box, and carries an IPX4 waterproof rating for reliability outdoors.
