The Butler Creek Blizzard is a flip-open scope cap with a clear, see-through cover, so you can keep your lenses shielded from rain, snow and dust right up to the moment you take the shot. The lens windows are made from optical-grade polymer for the cleanest light transmission of any see-through cover, which means you can sight through them at close to medium range without flipping them open and breaking the sequence on a deer. When you do want the glass fully exposed, the silent, spring-loaded action lifts the cap clear with a single push, and it opens and closes equally well for left- or right-handed shooters. A stretch-fit body grips the scope bell to form a weather-resistant seal that holds up in genuinely foul conditions, and the caps are tested to stay reliable in cold and wet. Blizzard caps come in a range of fitting sizes for both the objective (front) and ocular (eyepiece) ends of the scope, so you match the cap to the outside diameter of your scope tube.
