Parker-Hale's brass jag is a well-proven cleaning rod attachment for rifle owners who want a proper, no-nonsense way to clear fouling from the bore. Made from solid brass, it's soft enough not to mark or damage rifling while still holding a cloth patch firmly enough to do real work. The patch wraps around the body of the jag - typically doubled over - so it sits snugly against the bore as it's pushed through, lifting out powder residue and copper fouling as it goes. It's a classic wrap-style design rather than a slotted jag, giving more contact area and a more thorough clean pass after pass. The jag screws onto a standard cleaning rod using UK-spec threading, so it fits alongside other Parker-Hale and Bisley cleaning kit. Supplied loose for stalkers, target shooters and anyone maintaining a rifle at home, it's a small but essential part of a proper cleaning routine. One point to note: being brass, it can leave a faint blue tinge on cotton patches - this is normal and not a fault.
