Parker-Hale's brass jag is a well-proven cleaning rod attachment for rifle owners who want a proper, no-nonsense way to clear fouling from the bore. Made from solid brass, it's soft enough not to mark or damage rifling while still holding a cloth patch firmly enough to do real work. The patch wraps around the body of the jag - typically doubled over - so it sits snugly against the bore as it's pushed through, lifting out powder residue and copper fouling as it goes.
