The Flextone Ol' Bushytail is a four-in-one squirrel call that reproduces the natural vocalisations fox and grey squirrels use to communicate: a bark, a whine, an alarm chatter and a distress call, all from one compact mouth call. Squirrels are vocal animals, and Flextone's approach is that a single realistic sound is often enough to get every squirrel within earshot talking back. The call is designed to be straightforward to use, needing little practice to produce consistent, realistic results, which makes it accessible to hunters who have never used a squirrel call before. In the field it has three main jobs: locating squirrels by drawing a response, pulling a curious animal in closer for a better look, or stopping a moving squirrel in its tracks to set up a shot.
