The FX Foldable Stock Adapter (part 20183C) is the side-folding stock adapter developed for the FX Dreamline Tactical and is the same unit supplied as standard with the Dream-Tac Compact. It uses a standard AR15 buffer tube thread (1 3/16–16) to accept mil-spec buffer tubes and compatible folding or fixed stocks. The adapter is machined from aluminium with a hard anodised black finish and engineered to eliminate side-to-side wobble when the stock is locked open. A spring-loaded lever secures the fold position and releases cleanly for deployment, making the action smooth and positive under field conditions. The primary benefit is reduced overall length for transport and storage without affecting the shooting configuration — the stock locks firmly in the open position and returns to the same indexed location every time.
