The FX Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) Barrel Liner in .22 calibre and 500mm length is the factory-standard liner fitted across FX production rifles and available separately for Impact, Wildcat, Dreamline and Crown barrel kits. FX produces the rifling by pressing it into the barrel from the outside — a patented process that achieves tighter tolerances and a more uniform bore than conventional methods. This standard Superior liner has a 1:24 twist rate and is designed to shoot standard-weight .22 pellets and FX Hybrid Slugs with excellent consistency. At 500mm, it suits moderately compact configurations on the Impact or Dreamline, giving a good balance of velocity and overall rifle length. It is the correct choice where an accurate all-round .22 liner is needed without stepping up to the longer 600mm or 700mm options. Supplied as the liner only.
