The Hawke LRF 800 is a compact, handheld laser rangefinder capable of ranging targets out to 800 metres, making it a practical choice for deer stalkers and hunters who need fast, reliable distance readings in the field. At the press of a button it delivers readings accurate to within plus or minus one metre or yard, and four dedicated modes — Distance (with continuous scan), Rain, Flag and Hunt — let you pick the most appropriate measurement approach for the conditions. The fully multi-coated optics and BK-7 prisms deliver a clear 6x magnified view, and the wide-angle optical system keeps the whole scene in frame while you acquire your target. An adjustable dioptre lets you set focus to suit your vision. The unit is nitrogen purged and rated waterproof and fog proof, so it handles the wet conditions common to UK woodland and hill stalking, and the auto shut-off function preserves battery life in the field. Lightweight and compact, it fits easily in a jacket pocket or bino harness pouch.
