The HME Extendable Pole Saw (HME-EPS-1) is designed for one specific and frustrating job: trimming the overhead branches that block a clean shot from a high seat or treestand without having to climb or reach dangerously. The telescoping pole extends from 76 cm to 183 cm (2.5 ft to 6 ft), giving you access to branches well above head height while keeping your feet on the ground. The 12-inch (30 cm) carbon steel blade handles larger limbs with a firm pull stroke, and a built-in shear with rope-activated pull cord deals with the smaller, springy branches that a saw blade doesn't suit. Two foam-grip handles are spaced along the pole for control and balance when you're working at full extension. When the job is done the pole collapses back to its shortest setting for straightforward transport in a high seat bag or alongside your quad bike — no awkward length to manage. A well-thought-out tool for anyone setting up or maintaining high seats in woodland.
