The Aonach II is Hoggs of Fife's fully waterproof 10 inch field boot, built for a day on the hill or in the game cover in any weather. The upper is made from Anfibio leather, tough and naturally weather-resistant, and lined with a breathable H-Tex membrane that keeps water out while letting the boot breathe during hard walking. A rubber rand runs around the high-abrasion areas to protect the leather from scuffing on rock and fenceline, while the leather-lined ankle collar guards against rubbing and knocks over rough ground. Underfoot, a Vibram 'Bifida' sole grips confidently on mud, grass and loose terrain, sitting over a shock-absorbing midsole and a removable memory foam insole that keep the boot comfortable through long days. The whole construction is waterproof tested to 50,000 flexes, giving genuine confidence that the boot will keep performing well beyond a single season. At 10 inches tall, it offers solid protection for stalking, walked-up shooting, beating and general fieldwork, and is available in brown across a full men's size run.
