The Hoggs of Fife Nevis Waterproof Hiking Boot is a lightweight, breathable walking boot built for long days on rough ground. It sits above the Rambler in the Hoggs range, with a more technically advanced cushioning and waterproof/breathable system to back it up. A suede upper with fabric panels keeps the weight down without sacrificing durability, while a waterproof and breathable interlining and a technical moisture-wicking membrane work together to keep feet dry and comfortable whatever the Scottish weather throws at you. Underfoot, a removable cushioned insole and low-density EVA midsole soak up the impact on longer hikes, and the renowned-grip TPR outsole gives sure footing across mixed and uneven terrain. Toe and heel scuffguards add extra protection where boots take the most abuse. Unisex and offered in Loden Green and Navy across a wide EU 37–48 size range, the Nevis is a solid, no-nonsense choice for hillwalking, dog walking or general countryside use.

Decent boots

All seem good so far. Perhaps come up a little big, but fine with a decent pair of socks. Only niggle is the top two lacing cleats are too close together, so laces often get crossed when fastening the boots.
