It full-length resizes fired brass back to SAAMI dimensions so cases chamber reliably in both AR-platform rifles and bolt actions — useful for handloaders running 6mm ARC across more than one action type, where consistent sizing matters more than usual. The die uses Hornady's Zip Spindle design, which locks positively against slippage but can be run up or down quickly for coarse adjustment, then fine-tuned on the same thread for a precise setting.
