The JSB KnockOut Slugs are heavyweight .22 calibre airgun slugs purpose-built for FAC-rated PCP air rifles operating above 12 ft-lbs. Cast from soft lead in JSB's Czech factory, each slug is formed to a precise .216 diameter and weighs 25.39 grains, giving them a ballistic coefficient of approximately 0.084 — enough to retain energy and shoot a flatter trajectory at longer ranges than conventional pellets. The hollow-point nose initiates expansion on impact, transferring energy quickly and making these slugs a practical choice for pest control and hunting use. At 8.0 mm in height and a cylindrical slug profile rather than a waisted diabolo shape, they stabilise through spin rather than drag, which suits the faster twist barrels found in higher-powered PCP platforms. Each tin contains 200 slugs. These are not suitable for sub-12 ft-lb rifles; they require the power and barrel characteristics of an FAC air rifle to perform as intended.
