The Muddy Deluxe Deer Drag is a purpose-built harness for hauling a deer or other large game out of the field without wrecking your back in the process. Rather than dragging on a single hand-held rope, you wear the drag over the shoulders as a dual cross-body harness, so the load is spread across your torso via adjustable shoulder straps, a sternum strap and a waist belt rather than concentrated in one hand and arm. The harness is finished in high-visibility orange for safety during low-light drags, and comes complete with the drag rope itself, so there is nothing extra to source before you head out. It is a simple, tough piece of kit aimed at hunters who regularly need to move a carcass any distance over rough ground, whether that is back to the vehicle, the larder or the processing area, and it packs down small enough to carry in a rucksack or vehicle kit until it is needed.
