The Napier Protector 1 is the original gunslip in Napier's range and remains one of the toughest, sized to take shotguns with barrels up to 30 inches. It is made from Natex, a hard-wearing waterproof fabric that keeps the weather out on the peg or walking the line, and it is heavily padded throughout with foam and a soft fleece lining so your gun is cushioned against knocks and protected from scratches in transit or storage. The slip carries easily, with sturdy grab handles for short moves between the car and the field and a comfortable shoulder strap for longer walks. An outer pocket gives you room for your shotgun certificate, a set of chokes and other bits you want close to hand, while an internal pouch is sized to hold a Napier Super VP90 vapour-phase inhibitor sachet to guard the barrels against corrosion while the gun is stored inside. Finished in green and measuring 50 by 7 inches, it is a dependable, no-nonsense slip for the rough-shooter, wildfowler or game shot who wants their gun looked after.
