The Napier Protector 4 is a heavily padded shotgun slip built to keep a gun safe on the way to and from the shoot. It takes shotguns with barrels up to 30 inches, with a maximum gun length of 124cm (49"), so it suits most over-and-unders and side-by-sides. High-density padding and a soft lining cushion the stock and barrels against knocks in the vehicle or the gun cabinet, while the full-length zip opens right out for loading and for wiping the gun down after a wet day. A detachable, adjustable shoulder strap and strong carry handles give you a choice of how to carry it across rough ground. A neat touch is the internal pocket sized to hold a sachet of Napier's VP90 corrosion inhibitor, releasing a vapour that lays a protective film over exposed metal and helps hold off rust between outings.
