The Skechers Work Puxal is a genuine safety trainer, not just an occupational shoe. It carries a composite, non-metallic safety toe cap rated to EN ISO 20345:2011 category S1P SRA, so it protects against impact and compression at the toe as well as offering slip resistance (SRA, tested on ceramic tile) and a puncture-resistant insole against sharp underfoot hazards. It's also ESD-rated to EN IEC 61340-4-3:2018, safely dissipating static build-up — useful around electronics and sensitive equipment as well as on a general work site. The upper is a leather, synthetic and mesh lace-up construction, with durable synthetic overlays at the toe and heel and breathable ombre-effect mesh panels through the sides. A cushioned midsole and padded collar keep it comfortable enough for a full shift, and the lightweight trainer styling means it doesn't feel like a heavy-duty boot despite the protection underfoot.
