Smith's EdgeEater is a handheld coarse-grit sharpening stone built to bring tired garden and estate tools back to a working edge. Rather than a pocket knife stone, it is sized and shaped for axes, machetes, mower blades, secateurs and clippers, shovels and hoes — the tools that take the heaviest abuse outdoors and are usually left blunt because nobody has the right stone for them.
