Napier Stock Shield is a fast, instant-finish treatment for wooden gun stocks, built on the reputation of Napier's award-winning London Gun Stock Finish used by gunmakers and shooters for over 30 years. Rather than the hours needed for a proper traditional refinish, Stock Shield restores shine and protection in minutes: apply the blend with the bottle's built-in sponge applicator, leave for one minute, then buff gently with a lint-free ultrasoft cloth. Rain spotting and general dulling disappear, and the stock is left properly protected and ready for its next outing. Crucially, Stock Shield contains no waxes or silicones, so it doesn't block the wood's pores — meaning a conventional linseed-based finish such as Napier's own London Gun Stock Finish can still be applied afterwards without needing to strip Stock Shield off first, unlike wax-based products which can prevent the wood absorbing anything further. Used regularly, particularly after wet days in the field, it guards against moisture, sweat and handling marks, keeping a wooden stock looking its best. Supplied in a 75ml bottle.
