These Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are compressed-felt bore-cleaning consumables for .270 and 7mm calibre rifles, supplied in a pack of 50 with one calibre-correct nickel-plated jag included. They are not airgun pellets or ammunition; you thread a pellet onto the jag, run it down the bore on your cleaning rod, and it sweeps out fouling, lead and powder residue in a single pass. Cut from heavy felt, the pellets fill the lands and grooves of the rifling more consistently than a loose patch, so they wipe the bore evenly and are quicker and tidier to use. For deer stalkers and rifle shooters running a .270 or a 7mm, they are a handy way to dry-pass a barrel after a solvent soak, or to push a clean, dry bore before the rifle goes back in the cabinet. Used regularly, they help keep the barrel free of build-up and protect the accuracy you have zeroed in. The supplied jag is sized to this calibre, so the kit is ready to use straight from the pack.
