This three-pack of Tipton nylon bore brushes is sized specifically for .25 and 6.5mm rifle barrels, giving a snug fit that scrubs the full bore without slop. The bristles are nylon rather than bronze, so they lift carbon and powder fouling gently and are unaffected by ammonia-based copper solvents, which makes them a sensible choice for routine maintenance, breaking in a barrel or working over a bore you would rather not put a stiffer brush through. Each brush is built on a single looped wire core with a crimped coupler, a design that keeps the core from scratching the lands and grooves as it passes down the barrel. The threaded end is the standard 8-32 fitting, so the brushes screw onto most rifle cleaning rods and patch loops you are likely to own.
