This pack of three Tipton nylon bore brushes is sized specifically for .270 and 7mm rifle barrels, giving a snug fit through the bore for efficient, thorough cleaning. The nylon bristles are gentle and unaffected by most modern solvents, including the copper solvents that quickly wear out a bronze brush, so these are a sensible choice when you want a softer touch on the rifling or are running ammonia-based products through the barrel. Each brush is built on a single looped wire core with a crimped coupler, keeping the steel away from the bore so the brush carries solvent and lifts fouling without scoring the steel. The threads fit most popular brands of cleaning rod, so they drop straight into the kit you already use.
