These Warne Maxima fixed rings clamp a 30mm scope tube to any Weaver cross-slot or Mil-Spec Picatinny base, and the extra-high stand-off gives a large 56mm objective the clearance it needs over the barrel. Machined from steel with a matte black finish, the vertically split rings carry a square stainless steel recoil key in both the front and rear ring, so recoil is taken across the full width of the slot rather than loaded onto the front ring alone. That square key also guards against peening or swaging of softer bases under heavy recoil. The clamping band is noticeably wider than typical two-screw rings, spreading the grip around the tube, and each ring closes onto the scope with four Torx T-15 socket cap screws for an even, repeatable hold. For deer stalkers and target shooters running a big-objective scope on a hard-kicking calibre, it is a no-nonsense, permanently mounted setup that holds zero. Fit the rings loosely first to set eye relief and level the reticle, then torque to the maker's figures. Made in the USA.
