The Warne Maxima 214M is a pair of 30mm steel scope rings in medium height with a durable matte black finish, designed to permanently attach to Weaver-style cross-slot bases and Mil-Spec Picatinny rails. Each ring incorporates Warne's square stainless steel recoil control key in both the front and rear ring, giving a no-slip positive engagement across the full width of the base slot and standing up to the heaviest recoil from big-bore stalking rifles. The square key also guards against swaging or peening of softer base materials over repeated mounting and dismounting. A vertically split design with a substantially wide band gives a firm, secure clamping surface around the scope tube, while four Torx-style T-15 socket cap screws (torqued to 25 in/lb) hold the optic firmly in place once eye relief and reticle levelling are set. Fitting a 30mm scope tube with an objective lens up to 52mm, these American-made rings suit hunters and stalkers who want a rock-solid, permanently fixed mounting solution rather than a quick-detach system.
