The Amblers Safety AS504 Aspen is a fully non-metal safety shoe, built for anyone who needs EN ISO 20345 protection without steel anywhere in its construction. In place of a conventional steel toe cap and midsole, Amblers fit a fibreglass toe cap and a non-metallic anti-penetration midsole, and the shoe is tested and certified to S1 SRC. The upper is made from 57% recycled pre-consumer leather, lined throughout with recycled mesh, including a padded collar and a removable, mesh-lined PU footbed for comfort across a working day. An injected PU midsole adds further cushioning and shock absorption, while the SRC-rated outsole is slip-resistant on wet, oily and soapy floors, oil resistant, and heat resistant to 300°C. The shoe is antistatic, carries an energy-absorbing heel, and uses 15% recycled rubber in the outsole — together with the recycled leather and mesh, a genuinely sustainability-led build. It suits keepering, larder work, kennels and general trade settings.
