The Amblers Safety FS209 is a hardwearing pull-on rigger boot built for wet, dirty ground work. The upper is water-resistant crazy horse leather, backed by a warm faux fur lining, and the boot is rated S3 SRC to EN ISO 20345:2011 — the combination confirming a 200 Joule steel toe cap, a steel penetration-resistant midsole and slip-resistant, anti-static soling. A functional draw-cord with an easily adjustable cord-lock cinches the top of the boot to keep water and debris out, while an injection-moulded PU scuff cap and bump-cap protection guard the toe area from knocks. The dual-density PU/TPU outsole is non-marking with genuinely first-class energy-absorbing qualities, and the heel is reinforced and shock-absorbing to stand up to repeated use. Being a slip-on rigger rather than a laced boot, it goes on and comes off quickly — useful wherever boots are pulled on and off through the day.
