Bore Tech Cu+2 Copper Remover is a dedicated copper-fouling solvent for rifle bores, developed for barrel break-in, high round counts and barrels that have gone too long between cleans. It works through a two-step chemical process: it first oxidises copper fouling to break it down, then a binding agent captures the dissolved copper so it can't redeposit further down the bore, giving a more thorough strip than older ammonia-based copper solvents. Bore Tech rate Cu+2 100% ammonia-free and barrel-safe — it won't etch or harm chrome-lined, chromoly or stainless steel, and can be left to soak in the bore for as long as needed without risk. Typical use is to run wet patches and a nylon brush through the bore, then let it soak for 3 to 5 minutes before finishing with dry patches, repeating on badly fouled barrels. It's also odour-free, non-hazardous and biodegradable, so it's comfortable to use indoors, and a final dampened patch leaves a short-term rust preventative that protects the bore for up to two weeks. This 16oz bottle is the economical size for regular copper removal; a smaller 4oz bottle is also available.
