Machined in Great Britain from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium and finished in hard-anodised black, this Britannia Rails Picatinny base brings modern optics mounting to the Henry Big Boy and X-Model lever-action, replacing the traditional open sights on the 20-inch octagonal-barrel underlever without any drilling or gunsmithing. It's the pistol-calibre version, sized for Big Boy/X-Model rifles chambered in .44, .45 and .357 — Henry also builds a separate rifle-calibre Big Boy with a different receiver, so check which one you have before ordering, as this rail isn't interchangeable between them. At 119mm long it carries a true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny profile, accepting any Picatinny or Weaver-compatible ring, red dot or thermal/night-vision mount. It's the 0 MOA version, sitting flat with no built-in elevation taper — the right choice for the moderate ranges a lever-action pistol-calibre rifle is typically used at. Fitting is drop-in, using the three 8-40 screws supplied with a T15 hex bit, onto the receiver's existing pre-drilled holes.
