Britannia Rails builds this one-piece Picatinny base specifically for the Tikka T3 and T3X, one of the most popular centrefire actions on the UK market and made in Finland. The rail is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard anodised coating for durability, then screws directly into the four holes already drilled and tapped into the T3/T3X receiver — no gunsmithing or drilling required. It carries 0 MOA, so it adds no built-in elevation cant, making it the natural choice for standard-distance scope mounting rather than extreme long-range work. Machined to true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny spec, the rail locks firmly onto the action without the sideways slide you can get on a dovetail, giving a stable, repeatable base for a day scope, night vision or thermal unit. Fitting is with four 6-48 screws and a T15 hex bit, both supplied, along with a sachet of Vibra-Tite VC-3 anti-vibration threadlock to keep the screws from working loose under recoil. At 156mm long, it comfortably spans the T3/T3X receiver for a secure four-point fix.
